The Ponderosa of Sky Valley is a privately owned 10 Acre Bed & Actual Breakfast Retreat
in Snohomish County. We are conveniently located in Monroe, Washington at the entrance to the
Cascade Loop, which many say is one of the most scenic drives in the entire State.
Our mission is to be a premier Bed & Breakfast destination for those looking for a truly tranquil setting.
We are constantly striving to make every guest feel at home. From our beautiful grounds with most amenities included, to our luxury suite accommodations, which includes a from scratch hot breakfast.
The Ponderosa of Sky Valley is easy to get to, but hard to leave. Come see for yourself!
We also like hosting experiences taught by talented professionals and artisans.
These experiences will have limited seating. Come learn first hand from artists, chefs,
and lecturers on a wide range of topics.
The Ponderosa of Sky Valley is a great place for a bridal or engagement photography.
With several locations to shoot from, great shots in good light are pretty endless,
like our sunsets. We have plenty of room for film projects and classes too.
Maybe you need a place to hold a team building meeting.
Here at the Ponderosa you'll have privacy, parking and space with
lovely scenic water views that are unobstructed.

The Ponderosa of Sky Valley also welcomes Chefs of all skill levels. Our professionally equipped spacious kitchen is the perfect place to stream a cooking class or host a meal for friends. The best part, we have so much equipment on premise for a Chef to use. From roasting boxes to various grills, double well deep fryers, proofing ovens and much more and always adding more.
You're only limited by your imagination.

There are just to many places to take great photos on the grounds of The Ponderosa of Sky Valley. With a water view, pasture areas and motorized dock you will definitely get a lot of variety from one location.
Our picturesque setting with wrapping hedge wall and our everlasting sunsets make the Ponderosa a beautiful setting for any of your wedding photography.
Film Location
Consider The Ponderosa of Sky Valley for your film and Photography projects. We even have additional photo back drops and have a large Green Screen if needed.
Maybe you're a Musician and need a new space to record or film a video. We are close to everything, yet offer a private and peaceful setting with plenty of room
on 10 private acres. We have lots of DJ Lighting and professional fog machines ready.
The Ponderosa offers a perfect backdrop for Professional Photographer's and Film Makers of all kinds.
Our unobstructed views with so many locations available, you'll find it easy to get the perfect shot to promote your business or products.
bARTer
Are you an artist who may be touring the Pacific Northwest or Seattle area to promote your art? The Ponderosa of Sky Valley maybe the perfect spot to start your trip. We are conveniently located just 50 minutes from Seattle and can offer a relaxing setting while you tour the PNW territory. We love art and are always interested in All Artists who would like to bARTer art/classes in exchange for accommodations.
We like to call this bARTer, with a small b and Big Art. All Art will be displayed with a photo of the artist, a brief bio and how to contact the artist.
Full credit is always given to all art displayed on the grounds of The Ponderosa of Sky Valley.
Don't Go Into the Light
The Ponderosa of Sky Valley can offer you a rare
opportunity to truly take in night sky in all it's glory.
You will be tucked away under our expansive
unobstructed night sky,
far from the light pollution of the city.
Our 10inch Dobsonian Telescope is easy to use,
with fantastic beginner results.
We took this picture of the Moon the very first
night we set up the telescope.
The Dobsonian Telescope
utilizes a large aperture which
gives our guests a bright, vivid detailed view.
We also have a variety of filters and 2 inch lenses for a more enhanced and comfortable viewing experience.
There is a dedicated tablet that will make it easy to find
planets and constellations to chart your course into
the galaxy and become immersed in the universe.
